Founder's Day 2022: A Celebration and Dialogue of Women Shaping Our Profession
As the first major event of AWA’s 100th year, Founder’s Day 2022 will celebrate founders of inspirational organizations, initiatives, and movements—women who have altered the trajectory of our professions and who continue to shape our futures.
Held annually in February, Founders’ Day was historically an opportunity for our foremothers to acknowledge and observe the thriving energy of the association and our endeavors as women in the design industry. Reconceived to engage women of the design and allied fields inside and outside of our organization, the event looks outward in hopes of supporting a larger dialogue and acknowledgment of women who shape our daily lives and profession.
