How to get involved in AWA+D
AWA+D and our sister organization AWAF are always looking for assistance to support the mission of supporting women working in the built environment. Whether it’s helping bring programs to life, enriching the content of one of our initiatives, or reaching out to prospective members and the AWA+D audience, we have a way for members to be an integral part of our team.
Following are just a few of the ways you can participate. Please fill out the volunteer form below and and our Membership Team will be in touch.
AWA+D Action Teams and Committees

Programs Committee – Develop and organize AWA+D educational and social events: tours, lectures, conferences, symposiums, vendor workshops, etc. The Programs Committee creates insightful programming with a healthy dose of fun!

Special Projects – help with an exhibit, competition, or any special project adjunct to our Programs Committee.
Be a Mentor – An AWA+D Mentor provides counsel or career guidance. They may assist a fellow colleague, a student, emerging professional or someone simply re-entering the workforce.
