Please join us at LACMA. We will meet and mingle from 6:30-7pm at LACMA’s newly opened Ray’s and Stark Bar designed by Renzo Piano.
From there we will tour the California Design exhibit from 7-8pm and those who wish are welcome to head back to Ray’s and Stark Bar afterwards.
The California Design exhibit opened on October 1st. LACMA provides free entry to the exhibit after 5pm on weeknights for all Los Angeles County residents.(must show proof of residency)
“This exhibition is the first major study of California mid-century modern design. With more than 300 objects—furniture, ceramics, metalwork, fashion and textiles, and industrial and graphic design—the exhibition examines the state’s role in shaping the material culture of the entire country.”
