We’re excited to welcome guest speaker Julia Donoho, AIA, Esq to our next WikiD Workshop on April 8th at the SCI-Arc Kappe Library. Donoho is both an architect and attorney, which allows her to be a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equity in the design profession thru important policymaking. Her work has led to posthumous Gold Medals for Julia Morgan (2014), Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown (2016), and Paul Revere Williams (2017). How amazing is that? Her unique path and dual career knowledge is going to be a riveting conversation, and can help you navigate your own ever-changing career. Learn how you can think and grow as an architect of change. Then stay and add someone to WikiD!WikiD is a part of a global campaign for improving the digital representation of women in architecture and design by increasing the number of Wikipedia articles pertaining to the lives and works of prominent women. The workshop will include Wikipedia training on how to write and edit Wikipedia entries, followed by time for entry writing on your topic of choice. For more information on the workshop, check out our archives and previous posts on WikiD. Everyone has fun and leaves with a wonderful feeling of contribution to the world.Register on Eventbrite before April 7th.
