Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Architecture: Design and Digital Representation/ Fabrication

Position Description:

The Tulane School of Architecture seeks to a vacancy for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor Design and Digital Representation/Fabrication. The start date is set for Fall 2018.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the capacity to engage core instruction in Architectural Design and to contribute to the curriculum through their areas of expertise at the graduate and undergraduate level.

They are expected to maintain an active scholarly agenda through publication and/or distinguished professional practice.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.


Candidates must have professional design experience and recognized peer-reviewed scholarship, research, or built or creative work. Candidates must have a terminal degree in architecture as well as prior teaching experience. Architectural registration is strongly preferred. Priority will be given to candidates with recognized standing in the field as evidenced by a distinguished record of teaching and achievement, including publications and design awards. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate their scholarly interests into their teaching.
